Kimberly is a life-long Whitpain Township resident. She graduated near the top of her class from Wissahickon High School in 2001, and continued to pursue a strong Pennsylvania education by earning a bachelor's degree with summa cum laude standing from Bucknell University. Since then she has also completed a masters degree in English Literature from Villanova University, where she studied African American literature. Kimberly continued her academic pursuits with work in the field of education at Cabrini University.

Kimberly was elected as Whitpain Township Auditor in 2017, and she has been serving as chair of that board since she took office in January 2018. Professionally, Kimberly has served as a middle school and high school English teacher with the Central Bucks School District for the past 15 years. In her tenure as a teacher, she has dedicated her work to serving young people, supporting their pursuits, and exposing them to rich cultural texts, especially through her work as a charter member of the district’s diversity committee.

Kimberly and her husband, Brad Koch, will celebrate their 12th wedding anniversary this summer. They have two children, Caleb (9) and Rachel (7). Both attend Wissahickon School District.
