meet Bob brunner

Bob is excited to extend his commitment to the community by running for the 2-year Auditor position.  After growing up in Norristown and graduating from Norristown Area High School he then worked for 30 years as a warehouseman and truck driver.

Recently retired he has extended his work with the Teamsters Local 169. Bob was the Union representative for 15 years and was appointed to the Executive Board of the Teamsters as a trustee in 2010. He currently has extended his commitment to the Union by working full time as the Secretary-Treasurer. Additionally, he serves on the Health and Welfare, Pension, Severance and Scholarship Funds Committees.  Working with local, national and international companies, he settles contract grievances and settles conflict resolutions. The new job and work schedule has afforded him the opportunity to become more involved in the Whitpain community.

Bob moved to Blue Bell in 1990, where he raised his 3 children, who attended and graduated from the Wissahickon High School. He is very proud to be the father of Jessica (26), Tyler (23), and Zayne (19) who are now firefighters with Centre Square Fire Company. His whole family is committed to the Whitpain community.
